Immersive Retreats
Beyond Sounds is also a space for immersive retreats, bringing together music, embodiment, nature, and cultural connection through carefully held experiences. Some of these retreats are co created with collaborators, while others emerge through direct relationship with communities, traditions, and places that invite a deeper kind of learning. Whether by the ocean in Bali or in the Brazilian Amazon, each retreat is shaped as a living journey with attention to presence, care, and transformation. It is a space for those who want more than a trip and are looking for a meaningful experience they can truly live through.

NI HUA IMMERSION - HUNI KUIN 2026
A 10 day immersion in Flor da Mata, a small Huni Kuin village on the Tarauacá River in the Brazilian Amazon, created for those who feel called to step into a respectful experience of community life, ancestral traditions, and deep connection with the forest. With ceremonial gatherings, song circles, storytelling, cleansing rituals, and time for rest and reflection, this retreat offers a grounded path into the living culture and spiritual practices of the Huni Kuin.

WAVES OF JOY - BALI RETREAT
A 7 day retreat in Bali that brings together surfing, somatic practices, music, ritual, and meaningful connection in a small group setting. With daily surf sessions, singing circles, embodiment work, sound journeys, prayer rituals, and time to rest and reconnect, Waves of Joy was created as an immersive experience of presence, play, and grounded joy.

Luis Piazzetta, Founder of Beyond Sounds
I grew up in a musical family, surrounded by creativity and prayer from a young age. Music became my medicine, a path of healing, connection, and growth. Over the years, I’ve specialized in medicine music, playing in retreats across Costa Rica, Peru, the Amazon, Bali, New Zealand, and Australia, and learning directly from Indigenous elders and ceremonies worldwide.
My vision for Beyond Sounds is to create a space where people can study, sing, and connect with music beyond performance, feeling it as prayer, as creativity, and as a lifelong companion. I invite you to join me on this journey.
